For ironworkers, additional training ensures we deliver value, quality, productivity, and our drive to deliver right the first time, on time. This exemplifies our commitment to value. This blended learning course is to help develop skilled superintendents allowing more ironworkers to assume leadership positions.
When an employer who violates the law pays the penalties associated with a citation, OSHA does not receive a penny from the fine. Any penalties that OSHA collects from within its jurisdiction are paid directly into the general fund of the U.S. Treasury, as required by Section 17 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. OSHA’s budget does not come from the penalties it collects, but rather from federal appropriations approved every year by Congress.
